Those who hear my story about growing up in polygamy often ask me how many polygamists there are and names of the groups. Once I began writing and understanding more on the subject I was surprised to discover how many people are living that lifestyle. As a child I believed that we were the only ones in the world who practiced polygamy. I was taught that we were unique and special, that we were God’s chosen people and that He had hand-picked us during the pre-existence to live His most sacred principle.
