Turkey Soup and Trump

This is what Yeshuah (the man many call Jesus) meant when he said to love your enemies and pray for them. Donald Trump is playing an integral part in bringing all of our collective diseases to the surface so that they can be healed, and we can evolve into a new level of consciousness. He has no idea the role that he is playing in our collective evolution, but for those of us who can see it, we see him for who he really is.turkey-soup

In the midst of taking rugs and comforters to the cleaners, making a crock-pot of turkey soup from the Thanksgiving carcass and creating a flyer for my upcoming Spirit Lift
events before running off to pickup my kids from school, I received a download about Donald Trump and who he really is. Yes, I am mostly vegetarian but occasionally join my family in eating meat as part of traditional celebrations. Otherwise my husband would think I’ve lost my mind entirely. As long as a turkey has sacrificed its life to feed my family, I am going to make use of all of it, even the bones from which I make healthy, organic soup to last all winter.

Get Behind Me Satan!

Those of you who know me really well know that I don’t believe in the whole Satan, demons, heaven and hell story.

So you might be wondering, “Why the heck did she come up with this title?” Well, I had an epiphany earlier today about what The Christ meant when he said, “get behind me Satan”. He was talking about fear. Fear makes a big, fat mess of everything and blocks your desired progress.

fear_2 meanings Fear is sneaky, deceptive and disguises itself in many forms. It disguises itself in ways that are almost undetectable. Fear is so deceptive that sometimes it even looks like love. It shows up in your relationships as anger. It shows up in your career as distraction. It shows up in your personal life as complacency. It even makes you want to over-eat, and dare I say it, get drunk. It is the root of stress and frustration. It is the cause of scarcity. It creates feelings of shame and unworthiness. It can even keep you stuck in your own proverbial hell.

Until you learn to recognize fear for what it is and put it behind you, it has the ability to block you from ever experiencing the deliciousness of life that is your birthright.

Understanding fear and the role it plays in your life is a process of digging down through the layers of beliefs that you have picked up in your lifetime. Most of your beliefs are actually other people’s beliefs that were placed upon you as children. They came from your parents, your religion, from school teachers, from friends and siblings, and even came from the media. Some of them you might have created as a child in an attempt to make sense of the chaos around you. Most of your beliefs are based in fear and when you go looking for them, their irrationality will surprise you. The best part, is that once you recognize them, you can put them behind you once and for all.

Were you ever told as a child, “You’re a bad kid. You’re not worthy. You should be ashamed of yourself. You deserved to be punished. You had it coming. You need to feel guilty for what you did. You are just a stupid girl…?”

Unfortunately our subconscious mind buys into other people’s beliefs about our worth and potential. How can you tell if your belief is fear-based? It’s pretty simple. All you need to do is look at the language in the belief and feel how it sits with your core. If there is any kind of judgment attached to it, it’s fear-based. If it feels constraining or limiting in any way, it’s fear. If there is any worry or stress involved with it, you got it, its fear. The opposite of fear is love. Not the mushy, gushy love most people think of. The love I am talking about is intrinsic, it is unconditional and it is free. And, it is far more powerful than fear.

You can put fear behind you with the power of love, simply by overwriting your beliefs with truths.

Truths are always based in love. They will always support you and they will always empower you. You were born in love and learned fear as a child, and as such you can also unlearn it. You can simply choose to no longer believe in your irrational and fear-based beliefs. One of the greatest tools for putting fear behind you is self-forgiveness. Once you recognize a fear-based belief you can forgive yourself for ever buying into it and then overwrite it with an opposite belief that is based in love and empowerment.

If you are really ready to own your true worth and value, it’s time to excavate your old beliefs. Take them out, have a good look at them, and decide whether you are ready to finally put them behind you, or better yet, transcend them.

Resurrecting the Divine Feminine

earth goddess

As a child I was taught that Easter was a Pagan holiday and therefore an evil holiday.

We believed that Jesus was born on April 6th. That he died on his 33rd birthday, followed three days later with his mysterious resurrection. Rather than an Easter celebration we had a birthday celebration, with birthday cake and all. It was a celebration of Jesus in his physical life and his promise of eternal life.

Slowly the eggs, bunnies and other “worldly” aspects of Easter sneaked their way into our secluded community. For many years I felt very confused about what bunnies and eggs had to do with The Christ’s resurrection. Long after many families in the community gave up the strictness surrounding the celebration of Pagan holidays, my father was a stickler about it. My first official Easter egg hunt didn’t come until I had kids of my own and a real reason to celebrate. Until recently I did not understand what father meant by “Pagan” and now I finally do.

Knowing what I now know, Easter has a whole new meaning. For me it is a celebration of resurrecting the Divine Feminine.

There is nothing bad or evil about Paganism. What could be so wrong with celebrating our Mother? Why did we feel it so necessary at one point in our human evolution to belittle the Divine Feminine and reduce Her to nothing more than dirt? In reducing Her and all of Her qualities we have nearly destroyed our home. As we created the belief that the God is only masculine, we forgot about our feminine. As we forgot about our Mother we deprived ourselves of really knowing Her unconditional love, compassion and support. And yet, even without Her acknowledgement, She has continued to support us, feed us, clothe us, heal us and love us. She has continued to shower us with Her abundance, even as we bleed Her dry and abuse Her. That is unconditional love of a mother. Unconditional love is not the narcissistic and egotistic love of the Divine Masculine I was raised with.

We now live in an amazing time of our human evolution, when more and more of us are waking up from our dark slumber and rising above our fear-based beliefs.

This is the time of the great resurrection and ascension that has been foretold. It simply doesn’t look the way so many expect it to look. It is the resurrection of the Christ Consciousness. It is the resurrection of unconditional love, that energy that is at the heart of the Divine Feminine. We are restoring the Divine Feminine to Her rightful place in balance and equality with the Divine Masculine, as we now understand that both masculine and feminine are necessary for all creation. As humanity comes together as one family we now see the true value of feminine qualities and propensities. After thousands of years of being put down and treated with worthlessness, true feminine qualities are being restored to their true power. Reminding us that love really is the most powerful force in the universe.

In resurrection the Divine Feminine and Her love-based energies we are restoring balance to the planet. With Her comes the much needed love, compassion, healing, communication, creativity and abundance that is needed to mend and re-create our world.
