I grew up with the notion that the mind was the devil’s playground and that it should always be kept busy with the words and works of God. Anything that came through imagination came from Satan and was to be dismissed as such.If it was not justified by religious dogma, it simply did not exist or was considered evil.

Memories of my Father
My religion taught parents to bring their children to salvation by whatever means necessary. My father’s weapon of choice was his hand on my body.
True Religion
I am not a member of any church and instead choose to follow the will and guidance of my own soul in direct connection to Spirit. No middle man necessary.
